Artificial intelligence raises high expectations. For a company, the useful question is not “which AI tool should we adopt?” but “which tasks in our processes could be made faster or more reliable?”.
Identify candidate tasks
The best candidates often share several characteristics:
- they are repetitive and consume skilled time;
- they involve text or documents (emails, support requests, invoices, meeting notes);
- their output can easily be checked by a person.
Keep a person in the loop
For most business uses, AI proposes and a person validates: a draft reply, an initial triage of requests, a document summary. This approach limits the risk of errors and makes adoption easier.
Rely on clean data
An AI that relies on your data (knowledge base, ticket history, product catalogue) will never be more reliable than that data. Structuring work, such as a well-configured ERP and up-to-date master data, remains the foundation.
Measure before scaling
A pilot on a limited scope, with indicators defined in advance (time saved, correction rate, user satisfaction), makes it possible to decide on facts before extending use.
